Acoustic Panel from Polyurethane Foam Scraps

2 week project

In the annual Industrial design competition, we were tasked to take a dead end material and give it a second life. My group chose polyurethane foam, specifically the scraps of the foam. By weaving them together we created an acoustic, sound deafening wall panel. Out of ~40 groups, our project came in first place.
