My year at TXTUR
TXTUR is a small furniture manufacturing company based in Roanoke, VA. All of our products are made in our factory, from lumber to finished goods.
During my year at TXTUR, I’ve had the opportunity to design custom furniture pieces, as well as a few in-line products. I design and engineer the products in AutoCAD, create stock sheets or plywood drawings, draw the foam and fabric patterns, and oversee the production all the way through the factory.
